Feedback on F2019-20 Priorities and Outlook for F2020-21

The Committee understood the reasons for delaying some initiatives involving consultations that were proposed in FSRA’s 2020-21 Annual Business Plan, due to disruptions related to COVID-19. They were supportive of FSRA’s burden reduction efforts, including the deadline extension for filing the 2019 Annual Information Return and regulatory fee.

The Committee provided feedback on FSRA’s review of inherited guidance. They recognized that much work has been completed to evaluate and reduce inherited guidance, and they would like to see progress continue. In particular, the Committee expressed support for increasing hourly rates set out in the Professional Services Guideline.
