Heath service providers who are licensed by FSRA are legally required to file their Annual Information Return (AIR) each year. FSRA regulates the billing practices of health service providers to help maintain fair and reasonable auto insurance rates for consumers.
The AIR is an annual questionnaire designed to collect specific information from service providers licensed by FSRA. This information helps FSRA conduct market analysis, risk assessment and oversight of the service provider sector.
Service providers that filed the AIR late will be issued Caution Letters. Non-filers of the AIR could have their licence suspended or revoked.
FSRA has taken action on service providers who have not filed their AIR and paid their licensing fee. To learn more, view:
- 106 health service provider licences suspended (September 2022)
- 169 HSP licences revoked and 59 suspended (April 2022)
- 174 health service provider licences revoked (September 2021)
