Providing FSRA with a consumer’s perspective

The Consumer Advisory Panel met with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) on March 29, their first meeting of the 2023 term.

The Panel welcomed the new Vice-Chair and newest members and spent time discussing their work plan for the new term. During this meeting, the Panel was updated on several of FSRA’s priorities and offered their input. These included:

  • results from FSRA’s 2022-23 education campaigns
  • The Segregated Funds and Unclaimed Deposits working groups
  • discussion topics for an upcoming meeting with FSRA’s Board of Directors

The Panel celebrated their achievements of last year, and look forward to contributing and sharing their insights to help ensure that consumers, members, and beneficiary perspectives inform FSRA’s policy and oversight activities in the year ahead.
