FSRA strengthens its licensing portal

Ontario’s financial services regulator, FSRA, has launched cybersecurity and functionality improvements to our Licensing Link portal. These changes will improve your experience with the portal, including making it even safer to submit documents.

Better cyber protection

• Health service providers and corporate insurance agencies can now have greater peace of mind when submitting sensitive documents and information such as drivers’ licences and addresses. FSRA takes privacy and confidentiality seriously and has strengthened its cybersecurity capabilities.

Greater convenience

• Corporate insurance agencies are required to submit to FSRA the names and licence numbers of agents with whom they are contracted. Agencies can now submit names and licence numbers for up to 100 agents at the same time through the Licensing Link portal. Previously, this information had to be uploaded for one agent at a time.
