How to get a copy of your licence

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) does not provide paper or PDF copies of mortgage agent level 1, agent level 2, or broker licences. For confirmation of your licence status, please use our public registry.

How to get a copy of your receipts

All payment confirmations of fees are sent to your Principal Broker, who can provide you with copies as needed.

How to request your letter of history

If you are a mortgage agent level 1, agent level 2, or broker licensed in Ontario and wish to apply for a licence in another Canadian jurisdiction, you may need to provide an official record of your licensing and enforcement history to the regulator of the other province/territory.

Upon your request, FSRA can send your licensing history to the regulator of the other jurisdiction, providing your licensing and enforcement history. Please note that licence histories for other regulators are sent directly to regulators and that you will not receive a copy.

You may also request a personal licensing history which details only your licensing history.

This would be sent directly to you for personal use including seeking employment or moving to another organization.

To request either copy of your licensing history, please complete this request form and use the Online Services Portal to submit it and pay online. Make sure you are using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari when accessing the portal.

The fee for each history copy is $25. Please allow us 10 business days to process your request.
