Deadline extended to renew insurance adjuster licences
The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is continuing to work with those we regulate to ensure financial safety, fairness and choice for consumers and members during this time of rapid change and disruption.
In May, FSRA advised that all corporate insurance adjusting firm and individual adjuster licences will expire June 30, 2020. To provide you with the flexibility you need during this difficult time, we are extending the licence renewal deadline to August 31, 2020. You can continue to conduct insurance adjusting business up to this date.
Thank you to those who have already applied to renew their licence. FSRA is reviewing your application and will send a confirmation to your adjusting firm once your licence has been renewed. Our processing times may be longer than normal due to our limited ability to provide in-person office support. Thank you in advance for your patience. You can also visit the Public Registry to check on your licensing status.
You can find renewal applications at the links below, as well as details about our alternate submission process during the pandemic:
- Corporate adjusting firm licence application
- Individual adjuster licence application Please contact your corporate adjusting firm to arrange submission of your application.
